About MariaDesign

The illustrator behind MariaDesign is me, Maria Maliepaard. I am trained as a graphic designer. Illustrating is my passion. I design the illustrations with pencil and fineliner. I also paint illustrations with watercolor paint. Then I edit the illustrations digitally. MariaDesign's illustrations are designed with love and can be recognized by the playful, unique, colorful style. I get my inspiration from everyday life. All colours, shapes and situations can be a source of inspiration for the playful designs.
The cards are printed on 250-300 grams textured paper. De illustrator achter MariaDesign ben ik, Maria Maliepaard. Ik ben opgeleid als grafisch vormgever. Illustreren is mijn passie. Ik ontwerp de illustraties met potlood en fineliner. Ook schilder ik illustraties met aquarelverf. Vervolgens bewerk ik de illustraties digitaal. De illustraties van MariaDesign worden met liefde ontworpen en zijn te herkennen aan de speelse, unieke, kleurrijke stijl. Ik haal mijn inspiratie uit het dagelijks leven. Alle kleuren, vormen en situaties kunnen een inspiratiebron zijn voor de speelse ontwerpen.
De kaarten worden gedrukt op 250- 300 grams structuurpapier.
