The Alica pasta factory produces high quality artisanal pasta. Founded in 1992, Alica is a family business located in Basilicata, in Southern Italy. Its production is based on three main characteristics:
- The use of the BEST DURUM WHEAT SEMOLINA rich in proteins, 100% of ITALIAN ORIGIN, mixed with SPRING WATER to give flavor and firmness to the pasta;
- The use of BRONZE TILES that make the surface rough to ABSORB any type of seasoning;
- COLD WORKING OF THE BLEND and the SLOW DRYING PROCESS AT LOW TEMPERATURE, to keep the organoleptic characteristics of the grain intact;
Currently, the company has a wide range of products:
- CONVENTIONAL LINE packaged with an elegant white and blue paper packaging. Include classic, special and regional forms;
- ORGANIC LINE created for the most health conscious consumers, in a renewed graphic design. The line includes organic Senatore Cappelli, organic whole wheat and organic spelled.
