Every pattern begins as a painting. Every painting begins with something she noticed. A morning market in Marrakech, a doorway in Greece, the electricity of Paris during fashion week. The work ends up on pieces that carry the stories with them. She believes a home tells the story of the people who live there. In objects chosen on purpose. In using the beautiful things today, because today is the occasion. Collected rather than coordinated. Personal rather than prescribed.
