Lavandiska

Lavandiska is a new brand of home and children's items. Launched in 2015, its name was chosen in honor of the affectionate nickname called by the father of the company’s founder when she was a child, “lavandisca”, a Portuguese bird known for its unique tail and bouncy gait.

An emotional brand inspired by family life and timeless traditions, combining modern design, multiculturalism and Portuguese national identity.

She studied law and was a lawyer, but in college she got lost making posters for parties or bookmarks to sell. As a child, she would spend hours at her grandparents' house, interspersing games in the sewing room, in her grandfather's office or styling her grandmother's clothes after raiding her closet. One day she decided to exchange normative codes for color codes. She founded Lavandiska in 2015 and since 2016 she has divided her time between the brand and a large family that is her inspiration.
