Imagined by our founder and designer Inhee, these artisanal porcelain matchboxes reinterpret an everyday object in a contemporary way. Inspired by the art of trompe l'oeil, each piece combines functionality, artisanal know-how and playful design.
The "3 Hearts" porcelain matchbox features an original illustration hand-drawn by Inhee, then applied to the porcelain using a ceramic printing technique. By opening the drawer, we discover the message “I love you” inside, like a little hidden detail.
Faithfully reproducing the shape of a traditional matchbox, it consists of an exterior porcelain case and an interior sliding drawer. Two scrapers, placed on each side of the drawer, allow it to be used like a real matchbox. Matches are not included.
Beyond its use as a matchbox, the ceramic drawer can also serve as a small jewelry box or accommodate small objects and treasures.
Each piece is handcrafted from porcelain and coated with a shiny transparent enamel. Due to the handmade manufacturing process, slight variations in shape and finish may occur, making each piece unique.

The “Ace of Hearts” Porcelain Matchbox features an original hand-drawn illustration by Inhee, applied to the porcelain using a ceramic printing technique. Open the drawer to reveal a hidden “Je t’aime” message inside, adding a charming little surprise to the piece.
Faithfully recreating the shape of a traditional matchbox, it consists of a porcelain outer case and a sliding inner drawer. Two strike strips, one on each side of the inner drawer, allow the piece to function as a real matchbox. Matches are not included.
Beyond storing matches, the ceramic drawer can also be used as a small jewelry box or to keep tiny treasures and objects.
Each piece is handcrafted in porcelain and finished with a transparent glossy glaze. As a result of the artisanal production process, slight variations in shape and finish may occur, making every piece unique.

INI CERAMIQUE is a studio based in Paris, whose sandstone work aims to create decorative pieces, weaving a link between architecture, art and nature. Through the development of capsule collections built around a contemporary aesthetic vision, our creations generate a dialogue between material, texture and handmade. Graduated from the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Montpellier in 2018, designer Inhee Ma is from South Korea and is developing a multidisciplinary activity, combining contemporary art, design and crafts. She now lives and works in Paris. The INI CERAMIQUE collections are born from the meeting between aesthetic inspiration and the functionality of everyday objects. All INI CERAMIQUE pieces are handcrafted by the designer, in her workshop in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. In chamotte stoneware, they are then fired at high temperature and present a contrast between a shiny transparent enamelled interior and a raw exterior emphasizing the natural texture of the earth.
