Uit aangespoeld zwerfafval – een plastic fles, plastic zakje, wat takjes – ontstond al knutselend de karakteristiek van een zeilbootje.
Spelende kinderen herkenden het silhouet meteen en namen het dankbaar mee. Vanuit dit intuïtieve ontwerp heeft het flessenbootje haar gestileerde vorm gekregen.
Een lege (shampoo)fles als romp, een kleurig zeiltje in een klosje, twee elastiekjes.
Deels hergebruik, maar niet ontworpen vanuit een duurzame gedachte.....Hier draait alles om de semantiek; de kunst van het op een een andere manier gebruiken van objecten en ze te zien als bouwstenen voor het creëren van nieuwe vormen en objecten.
Met relatief kleine ingrepen kunnen bestaande producten zo een heel andere betekenis krijgen.
Dutch Design van verbluffende eenvoud in een scala aan frisse kleuren, met de kenmerkende signatuur van Floris Hovers.
Een lege shampoofles kan je weggooien, maar je kunt er met deze set, ook een zeilbootje van maken. Het flessenbootje wordt geleverd als vrolijk bouwpakketje voor jong en oud. Bewaar uw lege shampoofles, deze wordt niet meegeleverd.
