We are also responsible partners; our business is run on a no credit principle so all the local farmers and raw material suppliers are paid immediately and at fair prices. Over 80% of the workforce in the factory in India is female, and mainly from disadvantaged backgrounds, including single mothers and victims of abuse. We try to be as responsible as possible. The factory recycles and reuses its by products as fuel or cattle feed, which helps reduce wastage in production.
