A plastic freezer bag lasts one use, two at most. A Flaxie Freeze is washed, dried and goes straight back in the freezer, year after year: our prototypes from October 2018 are still in daily use. Suitable for fruit, vegetables, herbs, meat, fish and bread: everything except liquids. The breathable material also works very well in the fridge, for storing vegetables, cheese, mushrooms, salad and more.

Every Flaxie Freeze bought from 1 October 2026 is guaranteed for 5 years, including bags sold in your shop. If a bag no longer does its job, we repair or replace it free of charge, shipping included within the EU. Your customers contact us directly with their receipt: nothing for you to manage.
Why snap fasteners
We tested zips and hook-and-loop. A zip limits how far the bag opens and traps food in its teeth; hook-and-loop also picks up bits over time. KAM snap fasteners, made of acetal resin, open smoothly and close hygienically.
Washing at 60°C
We use full-thickness Eco-PUL, designed for repeated washing at 60°C, useful after contact with meat, fish or fat. Thinner or lower-quality PUL can delaminate at this temperature.
Tip
One colour per food family makes sorting easier. You can also write on the bag with a washable marker.

We repair first, and replace if a bag cannot be repaired. - Lunch bags and wraps in PUL, in over 100 fabric designs. - Bread and baguette bags in double-layer cotton, with an Oeko-Tex or organic cotton exterior and an unbleached, untreated organic cotton lining, in over 100 fabric designs. - Bowl covers in translucent EVA tested for food safety, with an elastic edge, finished with a cotton bias binding in a Liberty print or plain colour. All our PUL (polyurethane-laminated polyester) products are independently tested for food contact (Celabor, Belgium), PVC-free and machine washable at 60°C.
