DESCRIPTION: Sicilian tradition tells of a chef from Catania who, after the premiere of maestro Bellini's infamous opera, Norma, which premiered in the Catania Opera Theatre, hosted the maestro and the artists, and having to deal with an unorganized dinner and as it was close to closing time, he prepared a simple pasta with tomato sauce seasoned with chopped fried aubergine, covered in a cloud of salted ricotta. In our version, obviously, we don't add the salted ricotta, because it must be added at the moment. We use aubergines from our Ragusa countryside, which we fry rigorously without any pre-cooking. We do not use preservatives or thickeners. The 190 GR package (standard jar volume 212 - mouth 63) is perfect because it keeps the stop low and is enough for three people. INGREDIENTI: Passata di pomodoro, melanzana 40%, olio di semi di girasole, zucchero, olio extra vergine di oliva, cipolla, sale, basilico, aglio. SENZA GLUTINE E SENZA CONSERVANTI.

DESCRIZIONE: La tradizione siciliana racconta di un cuoco catanese che, dopo la prima della famigerata opera del maestro Bellini, la Norma, tenuta a battesimo per la prima nel teatro dell’Opera di Catania, ospitò il maestro e gli artisti, e dovendo far fronte ad una cena non organizzata ed essendo l’ora prossima alla chiusura, preparò una semplice pasta con salsa di pomodoro condito con della melanzana fritta a tocchetti, ricoperta da una nuvola di ricotta salata. Nella nostra versione, ovviamente, non mettiamo la ricotta salata, perché va messa al momento. Utilizziamo melanzane dalla nostra campagna ragusana, che friggiamo rigorosamente senza alcuna precottura. Non facciamo uso di conservanti né addensanti. La confezione da 190 GR (volume del vaso 212 standard - bocca 63) è perfetta perché tiene la battuta bassa ed è sufficiente per tre persone.
