Emile Henry's factory has existed since 1850 and manufactures all products at its factory in Marcigny in southern Burgundy. The traditions and knowledge of the manufacturing processes are passed on from generation to generation. A large part of the kitchen products are still produced by hand and marked with the initials of the maker. The unique HR® (High Resistance) ceramic is developed from Emile Henry's own laboratory. Designed for use by the professional and passionate home cooks. Made from natural materials, without the use of cadmium, nickel or lead. Non-toxic and safe to use and prepare.
