I have been interested in cosmetics from an early age. A few years ago, when I started to delve into the composition of products that I bought for myself, my journey of discovery began.
I found out that many skin care products can be harmful to you and that products that are sold as organic are by no means always. They often still contain a significant percentage of harmful ingredients.
By reading books and searching the internet, I have gathered more and more knowledge about products and about producing cosmetics myself. That is why I took the step a few years ago to produce soap in a traditional way that is fully responsible, through thorough training.
At first I started selling at home. The demand for a real store quickly arose. After a search, I ended up in Zierikzee where I opened my shop 'De Zierikzeesche Soap Factory' in April 2015.
