About Cocora.nl
Our story
Cocora is named after the Cocora Valley in the Andes Mountains in Colombia. The wax palm grows in this beautiful valley: the tallest palm species in the world and also the national tree of Colombia. For us, this place symbolizes enjoyment, enjoying life and beautiful nature.
Nowadays the hustle and bustle of life often gets in the way of enjoying life. We want more, faster, better, more beautiful. This not only causes stress, but is also at the expense of our planet. For example, much nature, including the unique wax palm, is in danger of disappearing as a result of climate change.
Sustainable enjoyment
With Cocora we therefore want to encourage people to enjoy themselves more consciously. We work together with local, sustainable partners such as a social workshop and coffee roaster Usawa. We also want to prevent as much damage and waste as possible. For that reason our:
o straws and cocktail sticks reusable;
● packaging made of FCS-certified cardboard;
● herbs and coffee beans 100% organic;
● and bar accessories made of high-quality stainless steel, so they will last for years.

For that reason our:

1 set = 1 tree
So that we can continue to enjoy gems such as the wax palm in the future, we plant one tree per set. In this way we compensate for more CO₂ than we emit and together with you we make our planet a bit greener!

The product its good. The materials that came inside every product were also with amazing quality and integrity. Still, the packaging is very important and the brand didnt do anything to protect them. The logistic of the boxing was horrible. Some cases were smashed, some labels were torn. It makes very hard to sell products like this, even that the products inside are good.
