Colours cascade right the way through this jigsaw, with bold psychedelic shades giving way to calmer pastel tones in a satisfyingly subtle way. Eagle-eyed nerds will notice that the design of CASCADE is very similar to our WAVES puzzle, also by Rachel Breeden, but this one is an easier 500-piecer!
CHOSEN (ALMOST) BY PUZZLE NERDS
We love to involve puzzlers in the design process, so we asked our Instagram followers which of Rachel’s patterns you preferred. Hundreds of fellow Puzzle Nerds® voted – and the result was that you loved them both *almost* equally! So the obvious thing to do was to release both designs. To make it even more fun, we made CASCADE as a 500-piece puzzle and WAVES as a 1000-piece jigsaw.
RETRO AND RADIANT
Artist Rachel Breeden of Circa 78 Designs is known for her bold retro 1970s-style graphics, with primary colours and uplifting designs. Sesame Street and other 70s TV programmes are a strong influence on her work, so if Big Bird is your muse, you’ll love the fun design of the CASCADE 500-piece gradient puzzle.
