The CHI CHI FAN Hamburg label was founded in the Hanseatic city in 2001. Behind the impressive name is the designer Chi Chi Fan. A woman with a passion that she shares with many: handbags. “A handbag that goes with everything, has the right size, a practical shape and a beautiful color, is classic and just as high-quality, looks fashionable, but doesn't follow any trends.” So a bag for every day. Chi Chi Fan had no lower demands when she made the first examples at her kitchen table and named the various models after her friends. A little later she opened her first store in Hamburg and brought the City Bag onto the market, a bag that meets her own expectations and that her customers love.
In the search for the perfect bag, many products were added and the many beautiful colors quickly became a trademark. In addition to handbags and laptop bags, CHI CHI FAN Hamburg also designs wallets, weekenders, cosmetic bags and many other accessories. Two collections are created each year in the Hamburg studio. There, we work together in a small team to constantly improve the tried and tested and develop new things. Classics like the City Bag are wrapped in new colors and elegant materials or bags with casual cuts and accessories with illustrious names like the Speedy wallet are created.
Today, CHI CHI FAN Hamburg sells leather bags and accessories, which are famous for their wide variety of colors, exclusively in its own concept stores in Hamburg as well as in selected shops in Europe and overseas.
