A Bee Wrap is a reusable food wrap. It is obtained through the action of coating a mixture of 100% virgin beeswax + French Landes pine resin + an organic vegetable oil on a fabric.
It is reusable for several years allowing your food to be preserved naturally. To extend its lifespan, the use of cold soapy water (and only cold) is essential. Regularly, re-coating may be necessary to make the bee wrap look new again and again.
How to use a bee wrap?
It can be used like cling film or traditional aluminum foil during a picnic to wrap sandwiches, during a child's snack or to protect food started in the fridge. Let's take the example of a cucumber that has been cut in 2, the remaining half can be perfectly wrapped and stored in the refrigerator in its bee wrap.
Handmade in a French workshop (Var 83). Each bee wrap is coated individually and in the traditional way.
