Bordys
In 2018, Kiki Swinkels and Karen Willings released their first series 'North Sea full of Character' under the Bordy's brand, plates with a story. Bordy's was created from a love and passion for creating, dining and illustrating. The story, written by Kiki Swinkels, is told in a series of six dinner plates. The colorful illustrations were designed and drawn by artist Karen Wullings and applied by hand to high-quality porcelain that is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.

Inspiration
Each Bordy's series is a culinary ode to Dutch fauna, such as North Sea fish, crustaceans, game and chickens. Inspiration is drawn from the diverse characters of animals within the specific theme, which gives each board its own character. The goal is to bring a big smile to the table. The stories and illustrations are therefore always made with humor and a wink.
