BAREFOOT has been producing textiles and stuffed animals in Sri Lanka since the 1960s. The fabrics are hand-woven, dyed with ecologically safe colors (Ökotex) and filled with high-quality, natural kapok. Each finished product is unique. The unique soft toys and bags, which delight the eye and encourage play, are the result of a collaboration between Barbara Sansoni and women from rural Sri Lanka. The result of this collaboration has now become a story about people who, with creativity and craftsmanship, have managed to create small works of art again and again and to enable a positive production community for all employees.
