Our company, "Aceites el Tilo", was born in the heart of a humble family that has dedicated its entire life to agriculture and olive growing in the Sierra de las Villuercas (Caceres), where there is a great olive-growing tradition. Villuercas Geopark, the oils obtained from its olive trees transmit all the love for the land cultivated by the Santos family for generations.
El Tilo's extra virgin olive oils come exclusively from olives of the Cornicabra variety, carefully cultivated on our family limited production farm. The olives are harvested early at the beginning of November, when they begin to change colour for the later cold extraction of the oil and final storage in our own stainless steel tank. Our product has been classified in the gourmet category by receiving a diploma from the French Agricultural Products Promotion Agency (AVPA).
