Het grootste deel van de originalhome collectie is gemaakt van afvalmaterialen uit de kleding-, katoen-, hout- en toerisme-industrie. Door afval als grondstof te gebruiken, wordt de negatieve impact van de productie van nieuwe materialen vermeden en wordt voorkomen dat afval wordt verbrand of in zee of op een stortplaats terechtkomt, wat enorme schade zou toebrengen aan het milieu en de biodiversiteit.
