Asphodel è una community di apicoltori italiani dell'incontaminata Sardegna che ha deciso di unire i propri sforzi per vendere al mondo i propri mieli locali, grezzi, selvatici e naturali, con particolare attenzione al Miele Amaro. I nostri prodotti provengono da una selezione dei migliori mieli dell'isola, in particolare quello di corbezzolo, dopo un duro lavoro svolto tutti i giorni durante tutto l'anno evitando pesticidi e nutrizione artificiale. Siamo particolarmente concentrati nella produzione dei migliori e unici mieli della nostra isola come il miele di corbezzolo che è presente solo in Sardegna una delle cinque zone blu del mondo.
Il nostro miele è prodotto in una zona della Blue Zone, una delle cinque località al mondo dove si vive più a lungo grazie alla sua dieta: il miele è una parte importante di questa dieta e fa la differenza nella qualità delle persone centenarie che ci vivono .
Il nostro sogno è diventare la prima comunità di apicoltori sostenibili a produrre sia per il mercato locale che per quello esterno senza l'uso di pesticidi né zuccheri aggiunti per nutrire le api: produciamo solo miele naturale e crudo.
Ci impegniamo anche ad aumentare le possibilità dei piccoli apicoltori di trovare un mercato sostenibile che dia loro l'opportunità di produrre prodotti naturali delle api senza essere costretti dalle regole del mercato a massimizzare la produzione attraverso l'aggiunta di sostanze chimiche o antibiotici.
Solo un'alleanza consumatore/produttore può permettere che la produzione alimentare sia giusta e giusta.

Asphodel is a community of italian beekeepers from the uncontaminated island of Sardinia that decided to put together their effort to sell their local, raw, wild and natural honeys to the world with particular focus on Bitter Honey. Our products come from a selection of the best honey on the island, in particular the corbezzolo one, after a tough work performed every day all along the year avoiding pesticides and artificial nutrition. We are particularly concentrated on producing the best and unique honeys of our island such as corbezzolo honey which is only present in Sardinia one of the five Blue Zones of the World.
Our honey is produced in a Blue Zone area, one of the five locations in the world where people live longer thanks to its diet: the honey is an important part of this diet and makes the difference in the quality of the centenary people that live there.
Our dream is to become the first community of sustainable beekeepers to produce both for the local and the external markets with no use of pesticides nor additional sugar to feed bees: we only produce natural and raw honey.
We are also committed to increasing the chance of small beekeepers to find a sustainable market to give them the opportunity of producing natural bee products without being forced by market rules to maximize production through the addition of chemicals or antibiotics.
Only a consumer/producer alliance can allow the food production to be fair and just.
