Glam Wax a commencé dans la cuisine de la fondatrice Christie de son petit appartement à Exeter, Devon en mai 2019 et les produits sont maintenant fabriqués dans notre usine Glam à Exeter !
En tant qu'amoureux de la cire fondante, Christie appréciait les parfums, mais l'emballage et la marque étaient si simples Jane ! Elle voulait un produit et une marque qui la représentaient, elle et sa personnalité - glamour, girly et amusante. Elle a commencé à fabriquer ses propres cires fondues dans sa petite cuisine et a trouvé qu'elles avaient l'air plutôt bonnes. Christie s'est demandé si d'autres apprécieraient ces produits, alors ils les ont partagés sur sa story instagram... et ont reçu 150 commandes cette semaine-là !
La demande pour Glam a été assez instantanée et Christie a eu du mal à jongler avec le travail à temps plein, puis à verser de la cire fondue et à emballer les commandes une fois rentrée chez elle après son travail. Dans les 2 mois, Christie a quitté son emploi pour se concentrer sur Glam Wax et le reste appartient à l'histoire.
La société a connu une croissance rapide et continue de développer de nouveaux produits et parfums. Nous versons à la main en petits lots pour assurer la meilleure qualité. Forts du succès de nos cires fondantes, nous produisons aujourd'hui bougies, diffuseurs de roseaux et bain moussant ! Glam Wax started in female founder Christie's kitchen of her small apartment in Exeter, Devon in May 2019 and products are now manufactured in our Glam factory in Exeter!
As a lover of wax melts, Christie was enjoying fragrances but the packaging and branding were just so plain Jane! She wanted a product and brand that represented her and her personality - glamorous, girly and fun. She began making her own wax melts in her small kitchen and thought they looked pretty good. Christie wondered if others would enjoy these products so shared them on her instagram story...and had 150 orders that week!
The demand for Glam was pretty instant and Christie struggled to juggle full time work and then pouring wax melts and packing orders once she returned home from her job. Within 2 months, Christie quit her job to focus on Glam Wax and the rest is history.
The company has experienced quick growth and continue to develop new products and fragrances. We hand pour in small batches to ensure the best quality. From the success of our wax melts, we now produce candles, reed diffusers and bubble bath!
