Pinotage with crimson red nuances. The nose has an intense scent of red currant, strawberry confit and dried rose petals. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with flavors of sweet red fruits, ripe cherries and a hint of spice. Consistent and elegant balance between fruit, fresh acidity and tannin structure.
Pairings at the table: Pasta and red meat dishes, spicy dishes.

Cork Il Pinotage è un vitigno originario del Sudafrica, nato nel 1925 da un singolare incrocio tra Pinot Nero ed Hermitage (o Cinsaut). Padre del Pinotage è stato Abraham Izak Perold, professore universitario e viticoltore che cercava la migliore resistenza alle secche estati della regione del Western Cape in Sudafrica.
Pinotage dalle sfumature rosso cremisi. Al naso presenta un intenso profumo di ribes rosso, confit di fragola e petali di rosa essiccati. Al palato, il vino si mostra mediamente corposo, con sapori di dolci frutti rossi, ciliegie mature e un pizzico di spezie. Coerente ed elegante equilibrio tra la frutta, la fresca acidità e la struttura tanninica.
