For environmentally conscious vegans, the candles made from it are of course the first choice. Also, candles made from rapeseed wax are usually of higher quality and burn slower than comparable kerosene candles. However, the melting point for canola wax is lower. Another advantage of rapeseed wax is that it burns almost soot-free.
