Material
The wood for the Farmwood collection comes from old houses and buildings and carries the FSC quality mark. After reclaiming the beams, each piece of wood is hand-selected for quality, structure and appearance.
During production, the natural properties of the wood are preserved as much as possible. Knots, cracks and other signs of use remain visible. The wood is only sanded and brushed, without heavy post-processing. This preserves the original appearance of the material and makes every plank different.

Materiaal
Het hout voor de Farmwood collectie is afkomstig uit oude huizen en gebouwen en draagt het FSC-keurmerk. Na het terugwinnen van de balken wordt ieder stuk hout met de hand geselecteerd op kwaliteit, structuur en uitstraling.
Tijdens de productie blijven de natuurlijke eigenschappen van het hout zoveel mogelijk behouden. Noesten, scheuren en andere gebruikssporen blijven zichtbaar. Het hout wordt alleen geschuurd en geborsteld, zonder zware nabewerking. Hierdoor blijft de oorspronkelijke uitstraling van het materiaal behouden en is iedere plank anders.
