I am one of those lucky women with a nickel allergy (there's a lot of us out there). Since I was a child I couldn't wear every piece of jewelry I wanted to. Sterling silver earrings were the most my mom could have done for me at the time but I appreciated it anyway. No necklaces or rings were available for me because they were too expensive. The idea for my brand started when I still, even as a young adult woman, couldn't afford good-quality, nickel-free jewelry. So I came up with an idea to make a necklace for myself, out of freshwater pearls, gold-plated stainless steel and sterling silver components I purchased from a Polish wholesaler. I fell in love with the process of designing and making the jewelry so I made another one and made a listing on Depop. It sold to New Zealand. I was so happy and certain, since my first order, that I want to create my own jewelry brand with a mission to make great-quality, durable and safe jewelry affordable for everyone. Since then, I grow.
