Crafted from the Tonda Iblea, a heritage and stunning olive variety of the South-East Sicilian territory, this oil is made from olives that are delicately picked by hand from secular trees in the Chiaramonte Gulfi valleys. The olives are processed into oil within hours after harvest, using advanced technologies to maximize the potential of the olive in each extraction stage.
The result is an oil with a vibrant green and intense fruity character, featuring marked notes of tomato, Mediterranean herbs, thistle, nettle and white pepper. This versatile oil pairs beautifully with cooked and raw vegetables, Caprese salads, Sicilian orange salads, soups, grilled meats and fish.

Oleificio Guccione is an important reality, which since 1966 has been producing extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality in the area of Chiaramonte Gulfi, a small village in the province of Ragusa. It is a family business, born as an oil mill at the service of small local producers, which over the years has begun to produce labels with its own brand. Today at the helm of the oil mill are the brothers Vito and Giuseppe Divita, who carry on the business with craftsmanship passion and respect for the ancient traditions of the Hyblaean territory. Sicily's link with the olive tree is lost in the mists of time. Always present on the island with many excellent quality cultivars, the olive tree, together with the vine and wheat, is a symbolic plant of the Mediterranean culture and of the populations that have inhabited the shores of the Mare Nostrum since ancient times.
