Jute is a very durable and robust natural fiber. The jute for this basket is grown without pesticides and fertilizers and is therefore fully biodegradable.
The basket is woven by women from jute. The women who weave these baskets live in villages across the country and are organized into small producer groups. They mainly process materials such as palm leaf, seagrass, hogla and jute. All raw materials come from Bangladesh, so no materials are imported.
Cleaning: If the basket is dirty, we recommend cleaning it with a damp cloth. However, the basket should not be exposed to moisture for a long period of time.
Since the storage basket is a handmade one-off, small deviations from the basket shown are possible. Der handgemachte Korb Ephraim ist angenehm anzufassen und hat ein zeitloses Design. Jute ist eine sehr haltbare und robuste Naturfaser. Die Jute für diesen Korb wird ohne Pestizide und Dünger angebaut und ist daher vollständig biologisch abbaubar.
Der Korb wird von Frauen aus Jute geflochten. Die Frauen, die diese Körbe flechten leben in Dörfern über das ganze Land verteilt und sind in kleinen Produzentengruppen organisiert. Sie verarbeiten vor allem Materialien wie Palmblatt, Seegras, Hogla und Jute. Alle Rohstoffe stammen aus Bangladesch, es werden also keine Materialien importiert.
Reinigung: Bei Verschmutzung des Korbes empfiehlt sich die Reinigung mit einem feuchten Tuch. Der Korb sollte allerdings nicht längere Zeit Nässe ausgesetzt sein.
Da es sich bei dem Aufbewahrungskorb um ein handgefertigtes Einzelstück handelt, sind kleine Abweichungen vom abgebildeten Korb möglich.
