Toiletry bag pouch vegetable colored
Information
Outer fabric: natural cotton - naturally dyed.
Light Blue - In autumn/winter we obtain the natural dye for the blue of our LILABLUM color "Winter Sky" from locally planted red cabbage.
Yellow - When the season comes to an end in autumn, we receive the cabbage of carrots and tomatoes from local farmers. This is how we preserve summer for you in the yellow of our LILABLUM color "Forever Sunshine".
Pink - We collect the avocado skins and seeds from local restaurants and use them to extract the peach nuances of our LILABLUM color "Yucatán".
Beige - We obtain the unique nuances in beige/rosé of our LILABLUM color "Frijol" from organically grown black beans.
Inner fabric: high-quality fabric from a Swiss weaving mill in the color Mud. Eco-Text Standard 100.
Note: With vegetable hand-dyed fabrics, the shade of color may vary slightly from the photo, depending on the dyeing series.

LILABLUM stands for plant-dyed fabrics, reduced design and social commitment. From plants and food waste LILABLUM is developing its own vegetable dyes for textiles carefully handcrafted in social workshops in Switzerland. Accessories and bags that beautify everyday life and protect our environment. Products for the conscious buyer. LILABLUM is breaking new ground because plant dyeing is a very old, original and environmentally friendly craft. For example, depending on the dyeing process, onion skins have three different color shades. Ochre, sand, and olive, or the latest color "Midnight" obtained from the oak bark results in a dark, rich blue/grey. The natural colors are developed and tested in the laboratory until they meet LILABLUM's high quality and visual requirements. LILABLUM's current color palette MIDNIGHT - dark blue - stained with oak bark FOREVER SUNSHINE - yellow - colored with carrot herb ORO - gold - colored with onion skins OLIVE - olive green - colored with onion skins SAND - sand ton - colored with onion skins WINTER SKY - light blue - colored with red cabbage YUCATAN - colored with avocado peel and seeds FRIJOL - colored with black beans The materials used are linen, cotton, olive-tanned leather and vegetable-tanned leather. LILABLUM also attaches great importance to sustainability when selecting materials.
