Baobab Oil comes from the African BAOBAB tree, known for its size (it can grow to 15 metres tall) and long lifespan. Many parts of the tree are used, such as the pulp of the fruit, the seeds and the leaves, to produce a wide variety of active ingredients. Rich of vitamins - A, B1, B2, B4, B6, E, C and F. Properties:
A smoothing and softening effect which makes the skin more elastic;
Stimulates the synthesis of melanin, a natural barrier against solar radiation (UV)
Regulates sebum secretion to make skin less oily
A thermo-active effect on the skin and scalp, allowing for easier penetration of the active ingredients, thus improving the effect of the product
Stimulates synthesis of collagen (a cellular regenerator) making skin more elastic, taut and firm;
An antioxidant effect which prevents the formation of free radicals
Moisturising and protective properties thanks to polyunsaturated compounds.
