Jessica den Hartog makes graphic objects out of garbage. Colorful products to inspire and inform the viewer/user about the value of waste. As a designer, I do the entire process myself. From collecting the plastic, recycling it and designing/making the products. The collections are various studies into the design of material, color and form. It is a mix of one-offs and small editions for an interior that is decorated with attention. Collection Creative Notes A study into a custom font from self-produced foil made from plastic waste. The letters are sold as unica, 1 letter A, 1 letter B, etc. The font is printed on paper from agricultural waste (Paperwise) as postcards and an ABC poster. Nice to surprise someone with or to learn the alphabet.
