In 2021 we founded the start-up company if naturkosmetik in Darmstadt with a small team. We have made it our mission to produce animal-free and zero-waste natural cosmetics with natural, vegan ingredients. The question arose for us, "why we give our body the daily task of using cosmetics to fight against a number of pollutants and thus waste valuable energy"? And as if that wasn't enough, many of the ingredients also harm the environment, not to mention packaging waste. There must be alternatives here! This is how we came up with the Back to Basic approach: The waiver of any synthetic additives. In order to counteract the not too positive reputation of natural cosmetics, which is unfortunately still attached, we provide our products with a modern design. We want natural cosmetics products no longer to have to hide and finally find a place in the front row in the bathroom.
