This is a beautiful hand fan that is inspired by Islamic art in the Alhambra of Granada. The fan is made of 100% silk and has a wooden frame. The design is based on the complicated patterns of the tiled walls in this Spanish palace. Each copy is made by hand in a small workshop in Valencia, which contains more than 100 years of family tradition. The assembly, a manual process called "Varillado", has almost become a lost technique. This fan is a unique piece with an elegant look and a rich history.
