OUR STORY

At Craftory, we make minimalist handcrafted accessories in a way that is fair to both people and for the environment.

Craftory was founded back in 2013 when we stumbled upon some organically tanned leather from Tärnsjö, Sweden and were completely blown away by how it looked and felt.

Since then we have been staying true and following one vision: unpretentious design, no kitsch and independent production.

SOURCING

Our main leather collections- Cognac and Black goods are made of vegetable tanned leather from Tärnsjö Tannery, Sweden. Their practices and leather are certified as organic and free of harmful substances. Since vegetable tanning is a natural process and chemical free it's also eco-friendly. Big plus is that vegetable tanned leather FEELS and SMELLS beautiful and also gets better with age.

Both Limited Editions are crafted from responsibly sourced Italian vegetable-tanned leather.

Our Responsible collection bags are produced from 100% British made cotton fabric and webbing on the shoulder straps made in Belgium. Also got the OEKO-TEX® standard.

MAKING

All our leather goods are handmade in Tartu, Estonia by experienced professionals earning fair wages. Our Responsible collection is also handmade in Tallinn, Estonia.

USING

Even though all our goods are Made To Age and only get better with age, nothing good in life lasts forever. That said, all our leather goods come with a promise of lifelong warranty and free repairs.
