A classic set of salt and pepper mills made of acrylic and beech wood from sustainable sources. The beech wood is finished with a clear coat to let the natural beauty of the wood grain shine through. Featuring Cole & Mason Precision mechanisms backed by the Lifetime Mechanism Warranty, you can rely on many years of excellent performance. The pepper mill comes with a carbon steel mechanism that strips the peppercorns instead of crushing them, releasing more flavor with every turn. The salt mill comes with a diamond-sharp ceramic mechanism that ensures precise seasoning with every use. Use the knob on the top of the grinder to adjust the grind from fine to coarse. The coarse setting is ideal for steak, medium for pizzas and fine for soups and sauces.
Both mills are partially filled with top quality Vietnamese black peppercorns and Belgian coarse sea salt and are therefore immediately ready for use. If you need to top up, just loosen the knob and remove the wooden top. Top up with your favorite whole peppercorns and coarse salt and replace the lid.
Hints & Tips: If your grinder grinds hard, especially on a fine setting, try releasing the mechanism. Turn the grinder upside down, loosen the knob to the coarsest position and turn the top. This will release large peppercorns or salt crystals that may have gotten stuck. Turn the knob back to the desired position. Do not put salt in your pepper mill, as this will damage the carbon steel mechanism.
