Soy Saskia Heijmans, ilustradora. He estado decorando el mundo con dibujos desde que me permitieron sostener un crayón por primera vez. Me gusta crear pequeñas historias sin palabras con mis ilustraciones. Fragmentos y fragmentos que te inspiran a contar tu propia historia. Tratan de cosas bonitas, tristes o divertidas. En 2016 comencé mi propia marca de papelería illus-ster. La gama inicialmente incluía tarjetas, impresiones, diarios y calendarios, que se ha ido ampliando con los años hasta incluir una amplia gama de artículos de regalo, que produzco principalmente en mi propio estudio. En 2021 decidí trabajar a tiempo completo en illus-ster y comencé a ofrecer mis productos a revendedores. ¡Me alegra poder decir que illus-ster fue bien recibido y desde entonces ha crecido mucho!
Creo que es muy importante que mis productos sean sostenibles. Por eso uso la menor cantidad de embalaje posible y tengo todas mis tarjetas impresas en un hermoso tipo de papel hecho 100% de residuos agrícolas. Produzco muchos productos en mi propio estudio, como las tazas esmaltadas. Busco ideas y soluciones sostenibles para el desarrollo y embalaje de mis productos. Como, por ejemplo, las bolsas de la compra fabricadas con algodón orgánico y de comercio justo. También reutilizo cajas y plástico para envíos.

I am Saskia Heijmans, illustrator. I've been decorating the world with drawings since I was first allowed to hold a crayon. I like to create little stories without words with my illustrations. Fragments and snippets that inspire you to tell your own story. They are about nice, sad or funny things. Beauty can be found in everything and I love to show that.
In 2016 I started my own stationary brand illu-ster. The range initially included cards, prints, journals and calendars, which has expanded over the years to include an extensive range of gift items, wich I mostly produce in my own studio. In 2021 I decided to work fulltime at illu-ster and started to offer my products to resellers. I'm happy to say illu-ster was received well and has since then grown a lot!
I think it's really important that my products are sustainable, Therefore I use as little packaging as possible and have all my cards printed on a beautiful type of paper that is made from 100% agricultural waste. I produce many products in my own studio, such as the enamel mugs. I look for sustainable ideas and solutions for my product development and packaging. Such as, for example, cotton shopping bags made from organic cotton and Fairtrade produced. I also re-use boxes and plastic for shipping.
