Über Iris Nijenhuis

Iris Nijenhuis ist eine Amsterdamer Designerin mit einer Leidenschaft für das Laserschneiden und einem großen Interesse an experimentellen Formen und Strukturen. Durch Experimente mit dem Laserschneiden entwickelte sie eine Technik, bei der der Stoff in kleine Puzzleteile geschnitten wird, die die Grundlage des Designprozesses bilden. Durch manuelles Verbinden der Puzzleteile entstehen inspirierende Formen und Strukturen, die verschiedene Produkte bilden können. Alle Entwürfe werden von Hand im Atelier von Iris in der wunderschönen Gegend von Prinseneiland in Amsterdam hergestellt. Ihre Entwürfe sind hauptsächlich fertig zum Tragen, aber Sie können Ihr eigenes Stück in ihren DIY-Workshops rätseln.
