Our Fresh Detox flavor is a green tea blend with a fresh and slightly sweet taste. The organic mint and lemongrass provide the fresh notes. There is a little bit of licorice in it – hence the slightly sweet taste.
For green tea, the leaves of the tea plant are steamed immediately after picking. In Sri Lanka, where all our quality tea comes from and is picked by hand by our tea pickers who earn a fair salary, they call this 'blowing'. As a result, the tea leaves do not oxidize too much and they remain green. This keeps the taste soft and fresh.

In Sri Lanka, waar al onze kwaliteitsthee vandaan komt en met de hand geplukt wordt door onze theepluksters die daarmee een eerlijk salaris verdienen, noemen ze dit ‘föhnen’. Hierdoor oxideren de theeblaadjes niet te veel en blijven ze groen. De smaak blijft daardoor zacht en fris.
