In order to keep the coastline clean and ecosystem functioning we harvest fast-growing reed plants. Reed is absolutely perfect for the drinking straws. 100% natural, no chemicals, strong and durable. All the leftovers in the production are used for making other reed cutlery - plates, cups, spoons etc.
