Studio Kvinna is a Dutch brand that makes stationery and home decor items with the unique illustrations of Femke Hesselink. She draws everything by hand in her characteristic style, which is simple, playful and with a Scandinavian touch. “I want to make people happy by handing them the right illustration (postcard) for the right moment. Whether they want to send or give it away to make somebody else happy/comfortable or to keep it for them themselves, to make themselves smile every day.” In her work you can find comforting cups of tea or coffee, colourful flowers and gardens, little men and other creatures going on all sorts of adventures, curled up cats, retro typewriters, tents and camper vans, Swedish red houses. All inspired by Danish hygge, folklore, nature and the great outdoors, magic and wonders. The illustrations are printed on postcards, prints and posters, made of FSC-certified paper. The printing house Studio Kvinna is working with, also plants back trees for every order placed. Studio Kvinna has experience with the B2B market and Femkes illustrated cards and prints can be found in several shops in Europe and across the Atlantic.
