Welcome to Shipwreck Island, an inhospitable oasis in the midst of the rough seas.
The artwork is double-sided. One side is black and white (the original fineliner drawing), the other side has been digitally coloured in a unique colour palette.
This artwork has been hand-drawn by me, illustrator Stefan Vogels (Studio DIES). I start on paper, sketch a rough outline, and carefully enhance the sketch. Then I either use different sizes of fineliners to create striking black and white illustrations or use a rich palette of watercolors to create colorful artworks. The art is then scanned and digitally readied for high quality printing. This process ensures that these art prints have the best quality when I ship them to you.
The artworks will be shipped in a sturdy packaging. The artworks will not be individually wrapped in a plastic cover, to keep waste to a minimum.
This illustration is printed on MultiCard 2S 350gsm paper. The paper used for this print is certified FSC Mix. It means the woodfibers originate for at least 70% from certified FSC forests and is supplemented by recycled materials or wood from FSC controlled forests. The print has the EU Ecolabel and an international ISO certificate which stimulates environmental conservation.
The illustration measures 14,8 x 21,0cm (A5, 5.82” x 8.26”) or 21,0 x 29,7cm (A4, 8.27” x 11.67”).
