Clary sage is also known as Salvia sclarea, and is a plant native to the northern Mediterranean Basin. Clary Sage is floral, earthy, fruity and nutty, and has a soft, sweet fragrance with a hint of fresh eucalyptus.
Sage has aromatherapy benefits, and is believed to be uplifting (antidepressant) and relaxing and sedative (promotes peaceful sleep). All our ingredients are sustainable and/or recyclable, cruelty-free and phthalate-free. Our products are all hand-made in England and we plant a tree for every order. Soy wax is environmentally friendly and more sustainable than paraffin wax. It is biodegradable and burns cleaner resulting in much fewer soot particles in the air. Soy wax also burns slower as it has a lower melting point, so your candles will last much longer. Rapeseed is native to the UK and EU and is grown locally and ethically. It also makes for an excellent candle - with a low melting temperature and very clean burn, it also is a healthier option (to paraffin) for your home and for the planet. Fragrance oils of the highest quality are used. All our fragrances are phthalate-free. These candles will have a more intense scent, and will emit wonderful fragrance even when not lit! Our wicks are made from organic cotton and are eco-friendly, lead free, non toxic, paraffin free, and contain no zinc or other metals.
