Our company was established in 2005 as a producer of solid wood furniture parts. Our knowledge, which accumulated during these years of woodworking, led us to create our own brand in 2013. In the beginning, the idea was to reuse leftovers from our main production, without any strategy – just to have fun with experimenting and creating, we created a line of wooden toys. Later on, when we had met talented designers – Szymon Hanczar and Magda Garncarz – with an understanding of industrial production processes, we decided to launch our first furniture project – a set of UFO tables. The name RAGABA comes from the acronym RGB – red, green and blue, as colour is at the centre of our interest. Colours influence our mind, body and emotions, so we offer a wide selection of colours to support users. We believe that every room deserves to have at least one nicely coloured piece of furniture. The idea behind our brand is to produce and market affordable furniture with a hence of fine design and responsibility of production. All our products are flat pack, very easy to assemble and made of responsibly sourced materials. When we design a product, we think about a user, about his or her lifestyle, what could ease his or her everyday hassle, what could inspire him or her? But in every case we also take into account that we all like changes from time to time, so a piece of furniture should not cost a fortune. We are proud to be a European employer. Our products are manufactured with love by valued and fairly treated employees. We believe every hard-working person deserves to have a safe and well-paid job to work and develop. This year we were awarded Lodz Design Festival’s prize – Must Have – for our first project implemented with Wroclaw Academy of Art and Design – a set of UFO tables.
