Quinevère is a vegan, apple skin-based bag- and accessories brand for environmentally conscious women. Our range consists of durable timeless pieces that can last for years. Quinevère is characterized as a luxurious designer brand at an affordable fair price. All our items are made of the best vegan alternative to leather available in the market: Apple-leather. The apple-leather we use is an Italian product made from approx. 45% apple peel and 55% PU coated onto a cotton/polyester canvas. The CO2 impact is reduced significantly compared to faux leather which is made from 100% fossil fuels. That is one of the most important aspects of using the apple waste. It is a completely renewable resource! Another reason to use the apple peel is that the repurposing of this apple peel (the waste) also keeps them from decomposing and producing methane that contributes to climate change!
