It is in the heart of the Vendée, in the small village of Four Lutton, that our pottery is made. Poterie Lutton (from “lut”: “clay”, in Old French) has origins that date back to the 16th century! The descendants of the potters have perpetuated the family tradition and today benefit from centuries-old know-how in the field of clay. All the pottery, made from natural materials, is handcrafted and fired at over 1000 degrees to give it strength and durability. C'est au cœur de la Vendée, dans le petit village du Four Lutton, que sont fabriquées nos poteries. La Poterie Lutton (de “lut” : “argile”, en vieux français) a des origines qui remontent au XVIème siècle ! Les descendants des potiers ont perpétué la tradition familiale et bénéficient aujourd'hui d'un savoir-faire séculaire dans le domaine de l'argile. Toutes les poteries, conçues à partir de matériaux naturels, sont fabriquées à la main et sont cuites à plus de 1000 degrés pour leur apporter solidité et pérennité.
