At Perlucine, we offer instant foaming powders that are fun and practical to use as well as more conventional formulations, all without water. We are convinced that it is possible to do cosmetics differently. We are committed every day to reducing our ecological footprint by creating ethical and sustainable skincare products, entirely formulated, developed and manufactured in Brittany in our laboratory. Brittany is endowed with an extraordinarily rich land and sea heritage. It is therefore quite naturally that we have chosen to draw our ingredients directly from our home, between the Côte de Jade and the Gulf of Morbihan. Waterless cosmetics Traditional cosmetics contain on average 80% water. At Perlucine, we have chosen to formulate our treatments without water*. This process allows us not to add preservatives to the formulas! It also saves increasingly scarce and precious water. * with the exception of the scrub, which also contains no preservatives due to its high concentration of glycerin and salt. Short formulas A minimum of ingredients for maximum efficiency: our formulas are short, minimalist, they get to the point. Powder products contain less than 10 ingredients only. No water, no preservatives, no additives, no controversial ingredients… only active ingredients that are good for the skin! Natural marine ingredients Our marine clay and our oyster shell are 100% natural and 100% Breton and COSMOS approved. We work with local associations and partners to collect them. Eco-designed packaging Our products are eco-responsible and part of a “zero waste” approach. It is in this logic that we have banned plastic and preferred recyclable and natural materials for our packaging, such as glass, cardboard and wood. Most of our packs are refillable.
