Our story begins in 2008 when Luisa Pantaleo founded Pantaleo Agricoltura in pursuit of a dream: to give new life to local agriculture.
The Pantaleo family has been marketing olive oil for four generations and Luisa has chosen to embrace the family tradition by becoming an agronomist.
Our adventure started from a plot of land of 20 hectares in the Piana Degli Ulivi, a silver-green sea that extends from the slopes of the hills to the Adriatic Sea, in an area between the municipalities of Fasano, Cisternino and Ostuni.

Right from the start, Luisa has focused on the protection of local products:

"We started with olive growing alongside the production of Tomato Regina, a typical variety of the area which, unfortunately, has risked extinction in recent decades."
To encourage crop rotation we have introduced the cultivation of cereals, legumes, figs fioroni, summer figs, courgettes, aubergines, watermelons, peppers, peas and salads. The choice of crops was made in compliance with the natural cycles of the products so as not to exhaust the productive capacities of such a generous territory.
After three years of work, agricultural production has obtained organic certification.
Thanks to the passion for work and the creation of a consortium of local producers, our Pomodoro Regina has also managed to enter the list of products protected by the Slow Food Presidia.
The cultivation is accompanied by a process of transformation and packaging of agricultural products. We produce tomato sauces, dried broad beans, flours, fruit jams, preserves and vegetable jams, inspired by traditional popular recipes.

Today our estate extends for over 130 hectares, along the network of cycle paths of the Coastal Dunes Regional Natural Park from Torre Canne to Torre San Leonardo.
In 2016, we inaugurated a new greenhouse for the self-production of tomato plants and an oil mill for the pressing of olives and the production of extra virgin olive oil with organic certification.
Not only that, we have decided to open the doors of the company to all our customers with a shop where products from the zero kilometer garden are on sale and where it is possible to taste a salad prepared at the moment according to the philosophy "from the ground to the table".
