Z-Relief indeholder 6 mg zink per sugetablet – et mineral der indeholder ca. 300 enzymforbindelser som bidrager til at beskytte cellerne mod oxidativ stress og til at styrke immunforsvaret. Zink er desuden et meget effektivt middel mod ildelugtende svovl-gasser og mundtørhed.Dårlig ånde skyldes oftest bakterier, der danner ildelugtende svovl-gasser i tandkødslommer, på tungen og i mundhulen. Zink har vist sig at modvirke disse svovlgasser pga. dets reaktion med svovl. Z-Relief indeholder desuden tand-venlig xylitol, som hjælper til at modvirke plak i munden.
