What happened if… The stories about furniture and furnishings that Dieterich Bobbert and Claudia Buchbinder miss at home - and that can't be found anywhere else - begin in a similar way. Because the two of them, who now have a good 20 years of professional experience in product design, are passionate about designing everyday objects, they don't stop at developments for their own "nest". Little by little, things are created in her studio in Münsterland with a penchant for playful designs and functional solutions that not only make everyday life easier but also make it more beautiful. Gladly with a wink and a pinch of poetry. Since 2017, the two have been selling their self-developed design objects and home supplies under their nest gestaltung label. The small series are always created under fair working conditions in our own turning workshop, by manufacturers from the region and in Europe. The "habibi" spice rack, for example, is made by a workshop for people with disabilities in Münsterland. This enables short transport routes, because another focus of nest gestaltung is on production and logistics processes that are as sustainable as possible. The company has been getting its entire energy requirement from renewable energy sources since 2017, and the vehicle fleet was converted to e-mobility in spring 2022. To the heads: After working in design studios in Berlin and Hamburg, product designer Dieterich Bobbert and product designer Claudia Buchbinder initially founded their own design agency in Münster. They have been working there as service providers for their customers in various design disciplines since 2004. The two, who are also a couple privately, have been enthusiastically realizing their own ideas for their nest gestaltung label since 2017.
