Our fabrics are vegetable-dyed and handcrafted with the utmost care in social workshops for work integration in Switzerland. The natural materials for coloring are mostly obtained from leftovers from the local food industry.

Unsere Stoffe werden pflanzlich gefärbt und in höchster Sorgfalt von Hand in sozialen Werkstätten für Arbeitsintegration in der Schweiz gefertigt. Die Naturmaterialien für die Färbung werden meist aus Resten der lokalen Lebensmittelindustrie gewonnen.

LILABLUM is breaking new ground because plant dyeing is a very old, original and environmentally friendly craft. For example, depending on the dyeing process, onion skins have three different color shades. Ochre, sand, and olive, or the latest color "Midnight" obtained from the oak bark results in a dark, rich blue/grey. The natural colors are developed and tested in the laboratory until they meet LILABLUM's high quality and visual requirements.
