This is a beautiful desk mat made from a single piece of vegetable tanned saddle leather. Working or writing on it is a real pleasure and protects your desk with style. The touch of the natural leather surface is a pleasure in itself. Ink stains, coffee rings, sunlight and time will leave their mark and tell a personal story.
The leather is only lightly greased and otherwise untreated, making each mat unique. The authentic heritage of each individual cow hide, including folds around the neck and occasional scratches, is embraced. The different color variations, which we have retained by avoiding opaque dyes, also contribute to the uniqueness. The edges, on the other hand, are painted and polished in an elaborate process. The mat features our embossed LGNDR emblem.
